Record Producer / Mixer Arranger, Guitarist / composer.
The man behind Sade, Robin is one of the UK's most successful ever Record and Music Producers, and three times elected Chairman of Re-Pro - the worldwide Record Producers and Engineers Guild.
His productions have sold 55 million copies worldwide, including 44 number 1 hits and have grossed over £400 million. He is brother-in-law to former Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor.
Robin has been awarded over 150 Platinum, Gold and Silver discs. As well as the following industry awards; 3 ASCAP awards; a Brit Award; 4 American Black Music Awards; 2 French Victoires DE La Musique Awards; Vibe Magazine Award 1999 ‘Top 3 R and B songs Ever’ [Sade ‘Sweetest Taboo’]; MIDEM award, 3 BASF Awards; in 1995 a 3M Visionary Award for outstanding technical and artistic merit in music and in 2000 the Windrush Award for his work for ethnic minorities.

He has produced campaigning records and concerts for Artists Against Apartheid, Oxfam, Nimibian Freedom Fighters, The Chilean Solidarity Campaign, UNICEF and UNHCR.
Robin is currently working with Russian diva Marina Laslo at Abbey Road and working on a follow-up to his ‘Kiss & Tell’ 2004 album for nuJaz Records.
From October 2007 robin has been apppointed Honorary Professor at Thames Valley University which includes The London College of Music and which is the UK's largest university with 62,000 students.
